Having a 160lb dog in the house has it’s ups and downs, needless to say. On the up side… he’s totally full of of personality, goofy, hugable, lovable, makes me laugh non-stop 90% of the time. The other 10%… that’s the downside. He sleeps in the garage, on his huge, comfy blue bed that hubby built for him… but sometimes he’s just not so happy in there. He chews the door frames, the four-wheeler hubcaps, the trash out of the shop’s trash can AND the plastic liscense plate holder on the front of my car. Yep. MY CAR! *sigh* I love him, right?
Funny thing is… we don’t let him on the bed. Matter-of-fact, he’s generally not supposed to be in the bedroom AT ALL. (we try to keep all the pets out of all the bedrooms! doors stay shut!) But, as I was cleaning the house yesterday, walking in and out of rooms, doing laundry, making the bed, vacuuming the living room… I walked by the bedroom and saw this.
I couldn’t help but laugh! After running to grab my camera and snapping a couple of quick photos, I shooed him off the bed and sat him down to have a heart-to-heart talk about his misbehaving. We came to an understanding and decided it was in BOTH of our best interests NOT to tell Papa about this. ;) And since I’m pretty sure my hubby never reads my blog… I’m thinking the secret is still safe.

Don’t you just love it. Our dog [Chevy] is 95 lbs, has never been in the bedroom, but does fancy the couch at times. I caught a pictures of her one the couch one time. Priceless!

They are sneaky, for sure! :) But we love them, so it’s easily forgiven!
