Allison and her family were so much fun!! :) I had a wonderful morning photographing them and chasing the little ones around for an hour. The sun was quite bright and although we may have had a little problem with sensitive eyes and squinting, I still think we got some fun shots!

Kim and Jeremy made the trip down south to Savannah for their 10th anniversary and wanted to get together to have some fun couple portraits taken downtown. I was all for it! We met in the evening, about 6:30, to get that warm, golden light… but we got much more than that – we got HEAT! It had to be the HOTTEST afternoon I can remember in Savannah and poor Kim and hubby were just dying! Where we were shooting at, there wasn’t many stores or cafes to duck into to avoid the heat, so when they mentioned that they would love to get some images down by the river, I was like, “Yes, please!” :) So, down to River St. we went and stopped off in Savannah Candy Kitchen for a cold drink before dragging back out into humidity for a few more shots.
Kim and Jeremy – you guys were total troopers and I’ve been working on the whole being able to control the weather thing, so next time you’re visiting Savannah, let me know and I’ll command cooler temps for ya!!! Thank you so much for enduring the heat and my silliness! ;) Hope you enjoy!
As promised, the second installment of Charity and Jason’s beautiful Savannah wedding at The Gastonian! While Jason waited calmly in the garden courtyard for his bride, Charity’s father walked her across the bridge and down to meet her groom. It was such a beautiful moment when Jason saw his GORGEOUS bride for the first time! Family and friends gathered around and their lovely, simple ceremony began…
I LUV this shot!! Charity felt the first little raindrops starting to come down in the middle of her ceremony and she couldn’t help but to react!
AND then bolt for cover when the shower hit!!
Luckily, there was an overhang where the walkway shielded the couple and their guests from the rain! I was taking these shots, while balancing an umbrella on one shoulder, but no worries!! ;) They still came out great! This couple didn’t let the rain phase them one bit… it didn’t matter if they were married in the grass or on the paved stones, they still looked at each other with love and said “I Do.” :)

Paige gave me a call to see if I could take a few portraits of her and her hubby, Scott, while they were passing through Savannah, on their way to vacation in St. Augustine. You see, Scott just got accepted into the Architecture program at Savannah College of Art and Design and they were soon to be moving to our beautiful city so he could pursue his dream! How amazing is that! What a beautiful couple and a fun session!
