Little bit of lovely for your day.

Little bit of lovely for your day.

Sooo…. looks like I’m only going to be able to get half of these blogged before the holidays, as promised. But the good news is that there’s more to look forward to next week! ;)
I spent the afternoon with Ryan and Carrie, wandering around the Botanical Gardens and the GSU campus. It was a beautiful day – not too hot, which is great news for south GA, even so late in the year. It was nice to spend time with two friends that I don’t get to see often enough. And poor Ryan – he was soooo sick that day!! We really put him through the wringer, but he was a good sport about it and I think he survived. ;)
These two lovebirds are getting married next May in Sweetheart Circle, right in the heart of Georgia Southern campus. Absolutely beautiful, with green, green grass, huge oak trees, brick buildings and history surrounding them. Not only their history together, but the history of so many others who have walked across that lawn, eager to learn, to live, and to love. I’m thrilled that they asked me to be a part of their big day and I can’t wait! :)
Ryan and Carrie – I adore both of you and wish you all the love your heart can hold. :) Enjoy!

Sweetheart Circle! This is the spot where Carrie and Ryan will start their lives together as hubby and wifey. :)

Die-hard football fan that he is, Ryan was getting text updates on the games that day! He cracked me up looking at his phone every five seconds!

I’m guessing Carrie makes this “what-can-ya-do” face alot! Cute and OH so them!! :)

LUVS!!! This may be my favorite!

Woohoo! I had such a good time with these two! Both Carrie and Ryan are good friends of mine and I’ve known them for years now. Ryan is a HUGE Dallas Cowboy’s fan and I hate to say it – but, he’s also a GA Tech fan*. Despite his lack of taste in college football teams, I agreed to take their engagment photos for them and even more exciting than that – I’ll be photographing their wedding next May!! Yippee!! :)
So, here’s just a small sampling of their session. I’m working hard and will have more to share this week! ;) Enjoy!
*Disclaimer – okay, okay… so, I don’t HATE Tech or anything… it’s just that I’m a die hard GA fan, all the way. :) Go DAWGS!
Ryan’s last name is Spangler… hence the jersey Carrie is wearing. :) Luvs it!!!

More to come soon – HOPEFULLY before the holidays!
I had such a fun time on this session! It was more like play than work – chasing three very active kids around the yard, pulling out any and all tricks I had to get them to sit pretty for my camera. *L* Dossie gave me quite a challenge when she asked if I could photograph her three beautiful children, all under the age of five. :) She’s a gorgeous mama and you can see those amazing genes were passed on to her children. We hung out in the yard and played on the swing, looked for the kitty cat that lived inside my camera lens and just had a good time! I’m afraid we did not get that elusive ‘group’ shot that I was praying for, but all in all, I think we did pretty good. ;) Ms. Maggie was such a big girl helper and LOVED having her picture taken. Henry stole my heart and I asked his mama if I could keep him. And little Alli… oh my goodness. I could just eat her up! :) But, she wasn’t too interested in me or my camera, so we just let her do her own thing. A great afternoon with lovely family!
Dossie – thanks again for letting me play with your lovelies and I hope you enjoy! :)

The one group shot where they are all sort of looking at the camera. *L* What can ya say? They are all at that age where a pretty group shot is next to impossible! ;)

“Babies are such a nice way to start people.” :)
I sort of have a soft spot for itty bitty baby boys and this little fella made me fall just a tad bit in luv with him. :) Landon’s grandmother contacted me to take a few photos of their little man and I gladly obliged. He was wide awake for most of the session – just did not want to close his eyes! But patience and I… we’re pretty tight, so we just waited him out. ;) At the end, we did get some adorable ’sleepy’ baby shots!
Lynn and Christina – THANK YOU a million times for letting me spend time with you and your little one. Hope you enjoy! :)

LOVE this series on the bed! Simple, sweet, modern and I could totally see these images in a magazine somewhere. Maybe “Beautiful Mamas Monthly”? ;)

*sigh* Utter contentment. How lovely!

Landon gets those gorgeous blues from his mama. :)

Christina is seriously one of the prettiest people I’ve ever laid eyes on and she’s soooo tiny!! There’s no way this woman gave birth only five weeks ago! ;)

Sleepy baby, finally! Don’t you want to just cuddle with this sweetness??? :)

Christina reads to Landon every night and this is one of her favorite books. Isn’t it sweet??
