Beth & Tommy ~ Part 2! | Waycross, GA Wedding Photographer
August 8, 2010Beth and Tommy ~ Part 1 |Waycross, GA Wedding Photographer
August 1, 2010Beth and Tommy were married on a warm summer day in Waycross, with so much love and family in attendance. It was such a pleasure getting to know these two on their wedding day and I had such a wonderful time! Beth is one of those incredible women who have this innate talent of making you feel like one of her oldest and dearest friends within the first few seconds of meeting her. With her lovely smile and sweet spirit, she’s just a joy to be around. And Tommy was such a gentleman the entire day! Funny and sweet, these two make the perfect couple, I swear!
Just half of what’s in store from this beautiful day! Hope you enjoy!
Beth’s sister, Sarah, did such an amazing job on her hair! And my FAB second shooter, Evelyn Perez came all the way down from Atlanta to help a girl out and grabbed so many great shots that day! The one above and below are hers!
Mom helping Beth with her makeup for the day.
Loved this dress!! So elegant and sweet!!
And there’s such a touching story behind the necklace Beth wore on her wedding day – it was her grandmother’s ring, that she had reset into a pendant. I love special touches that make the day so much more personal – so brides, be sure to convey these little details to your photographer, so we don’t miss it! :)
And you know me and some shoes… LOVE!!
Grandmother helping Beth with her necklace; Beth reading a note from Tommy right before they are about to become hubby and wife. So very touching!
And speaking of the groom… let’s get to him, shall we! Meet Tommy!
Left is one of Evie’s shots. :)
And of course, the guys always bring the funny… I think the photo on the right was Tommy’s interpretation of a woman with a baby carriage, or something silly like that?? *L* I can’t remember, but I’m diggin the shot!
And right is the fab Evie Perez’s! :)
Ceremony and more to come later this week! :)
As promised, the second installment of Charity and Jason’s beautiful Savannah wedding at The Gastonian! While Jason waited calmly in the garden courtyard for his bride, Charity’s father walked her across the bridge and down to meet her groom. It was such a beautiful moment when Jason saw his GORGEOUS bride for the first time! Family and friends gathered around and their lovely, simple ceremony began…
I LUV this shot!! Charity felt the first little raindrops starting to come down in the middle of her ceremony and she couldn’t help but to react!
AND then bolt for cover when the shower hit!!
Luckily, there was an overhang where the walkway shielded the couple and their guests from the rain! I was taking these shots, while balancing an umbrella on one shoulder, but no worries!! ;) They still came out great! This couple didn’t let the rain phase them one bit… it didn’t matter if they were married in the grass or on the paved stones, they still looked at each other with love and said “I Do.” :)
This could be my most fav shoe shot EVA! :)
Ummm… STUNNING! Can anyone say wall canvas?? I’d sooo hang this one above the bed! ;)
Charity and Jason’s wedding at The Gastonian Inn in historic Savannah, GA was such a beautiful event and not even the threat of afternoon showers could dampen the love these two have for each other. I met Charity in the Caracalla Suite, where she was getting ready, with her family close by. This is the first time I’ve had the opportunity to photograph at The Gastonian and I have to say – it’s GORGEOUS! A photographer’s dream! :) I walked in and my jaw dropped – not only at how insanely BEAUTIFUL Charity is, but also at this room! Loved the grand tub in the middle of the bathroom and I KNEW I had to use it in a few shots!!
This is just part one of this lovely day – much more to come, but I know Mrs. Wimberly is anxiously awaiting this post! ;) Hope you enjoy, hun!!
Jenny from Here Comes the Bride did an incredible job on Charity’s hair and makeup!
Shut up! Charity is so beautiful I could D.I.E! This is just bananas! (yes, I like to be overly dramatic… Rachel Zoe style! And if you don’t know who that is, you clearly aren’t as addicted to reality t.v. as I am!) ;)
Charity’s grandmother mentioned that it was tradition for Charity’s father to help put her wedding shoes on… haven’t heard that one before, but it was such a sweet moment and I loved it!
Timeless. Elegant. Stunning.
Check back next week for part two! :)
